Relationship Guidance
Not all relationships are romantic; sometimes we need help and guidance in working out our own needs and expectations and having those align with other people we love and respect. Whether you are an individual, a couple, or a family looking to heal or balance your relationships, therapy can be a great platform to do this. Sometimes, to feel heard, we need to be in a safe space with a person who can provide mediation. Relationship therapy can be scary; it's commitment; it's vulnerability, but I’m dedicated to help.
Post Natal Depression
Babies are born so often that sometimes I think we can get complacent about the natural process. What we can forget is how physically and mentally taxing it can be on new mothers and fathers. Post natal or post-partum depression is more common than we realise. The stress and pressure of bringing new life into the world can affect us on a deeper level – it’s not just about being tired! It comes in various forms, we don't all have that immediate connection or bubble with our babies as we would like. It’s ok to talk about it. Through this space you won’t find any judgement, just comfort and understanding.
Grief
Something we all experience in our lives is loss. For me, grief isn’t just about the physical loss of a person in death. We can also experience grief through the loss a relationship, tackling illness, or other intense sadness. I can’t take away your pain, no one can, but hopefully with time and patience I can help you navigate the stages of grief and make each day better.
Addiction
Complex. Overwhelming. Frightening. Just a few words I’ve heard used to explain addiction. If an addiction has become fundamental to your life and it’s having a negative effect on you or the people around you, maybe it's time to talk about it? Compulsive behaviour can be confronting. It can interfere with work, relationships, and physical health. Let’s try and unravel this together in a place without judgement.
LBGTQIA Therapy
Are you part of the LBGTQIA community and struggling? If you need help to clarify your feelings and emotions or help someone close to you communicate and understand your feelings and emotions, then this is a safe and non-judgemental platform for you to be able to do that in your own time and in your own way. Each person has their own path to follow, and each path may differ from another, but through counselling you have the support and guidance from me to be on that journey too.
